DeSoto students participate in a variety of co-educational inter-scholastic
athletics. As a member of the MPSA, District 1-A, students may participate
in a variety of activities including football, basketball, track, cheerleading,
baseball, softball, golf, tennis, and soccer.
DeSoto has an excellent reputation throughout the MPSA for having a quality
all-round athletics program with many championship trophies on display in the
gym lobby. Our athletics facilities are attractive, safe and constantly
being updated. The newly renovated weight room provides athletes the
advantage they need to excel. The DeSoto pee-wee athletic program starts
training students early to learn the proper fundamentals of football and
basketball.
